About the Society.

Canine Society is an editorial magazine and community for people who believe that life is simply better with dogs in it.

Canine Society was founded by two dog lovers who shared a simple conviction: that the stories, rituals and relationships that shape life with dogs deserve to be documented with care, curiosity and good content. What began as conversations between two founders has grown into a wider community of dog owners, creatives and curious people connected by a shared appreciation for the culture, companionship and everyday rituals that come with living alongside dogs.

Each issue explores a season of canine culture — from city walks and weekend escapes to the people, places and ideas shaping the way we live alongside our dogs. We are interested in communities as much as collars, in routines as much as recommendations, and in the bond between humans and dogs in all its forms.

We are not a directory. We are not a guide. We are a platform and a growing community of people who care deeply about dogs and the lives built around them.

Our editorial standards.

Every piece is reported, photographed and edited by people who are part of the community themselves. We collaborate selectively and with intention, choosing partners, products and places that reflect the values of Canine Society and the people who read it. If we recommend something, it is because we believe it deserves a place in the conversation.

Contributors.

Our masthead grows quietly with every issue — through collaboration, contribution and community.
